BUTTERFLY N' CORNFLOWERS....Watercolor

Well, a fun day playing with paints. I started this last week, wasn't happy with it, but with Kathryns and Bills help, it finished out ok....It's like playing pool; I know what I want to do, but it hardly ever turns out that way...Thank goodness for luck.... No matter what, Thursdays are my favorite days....

Our Thursday painting day was fun this week, actually it 's fun every week... This week we tried free style , lots of paint , see what happens...Underwater jellyfish was a disaster, but the flowers turned out ok....Am waiting to see Kathryns jellyfish....She is soooo creative... This will probably end up as a card and bookmarks..It was fun.....

This is an old painting practicing the use of salt for snow texture...I like the colors and the verse..."IMAGINATION IS THE FOUNDATION OF REALITY....IMAGINE PEACE" ..... I wish Peace and Harmony for this troubled world....

BEAVER DAM REFLECTIONS....Watercolor

This is a painting and picture of the beaver dam in Lamoille Canyon ..Am trying to work with photos to do my own paintings... Since my husband gave me a cool new camera for our anniversary, I guess I'll be doing a lot more...It is fun, but just like Tai Chi, I need to practice, practice and practice some more...Thanks for checking my work.......

OCEAN VIEW......Watercolor

I painted this picture from the photo on the right....Trying to interpret my own pictures....Sometimes it works pretty good and other times it is necessary to use the back of the painting for another picture..Even when the painting turns out awful, there is always a learning experience involved....I will be happy when the cool weather comes and I can spend more time painting... Thanks for checking my work.....

MRA .... Watercolor 9 X 5

One more in the series of splashing water on the paper and then pouring color on the paper..It is a fun procedure..Never sure what you will get....The title , MRA is an old expression my Bill and his Buddies used ....(Movin' Right Along) This is the speed we are MRA these hot days....
