This is my effort at this months Virtual Paintout of Barcelona, Spain at 26 Carrer de Nazaret.. Wouldn't the folks who live here be surprised to see it on the blog...Maybe they wouldn't even recognize their home!!!..What fun to look at the Goolge map, to see the city and choose a paintable picture...Thanks for looking at my work... Somehow, I lost my password, AGAIN>>>> So.. Just wanted to say this painting was fun.. It was a gift for my ill friend...Now getting well... Visited her Sunday in Reno..Hung the painting on the wall at the foot of her bed... Hope she she finds it cheerful each day.. Thanks for checking....

Finally got to post a decent picture...Painted this about a month ago, but had to put on some finishing touches..Once again, am trying some oil paint...It's still new to me...Summertime is difficult to find time to paint. So many other chores..

VIRTUAL PAINTOUT.. #5 .Florence, Italy

Well, this is my picture for the monthly VIRTUAL
PAINTOUT, Florence, Italy..This area is Lungarno Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici..I tried it on Yupo paper with watercolors.. BAMBOO PRACTICE...Watercolor on Yupo Paper

Just playing around with the Yupo paper again.. I like the natural way the paint sets in heavy and light areas.. Wish I had more time to dedicate to painting... Am not doing a very good job getting a picture a week on the blog...Don't give up on me..
