Winter Stream 9 1/2 X 12 1/2

I have painted this picture about 4 times...I have enjoyed the works of Joe Garcia...His book Mastering the Watercolor Wash makes painting seem easy.....However, I have found that parctice, practice, and practice still hasn't made it EASY..... FUN, maybe, but not easy yet...The process of using salt at just the right time makes the snow texture.

Farm House At Sunrise 6 1/2X4 1/2

I used some techniques based on instruction books by Zoltan Szabo...Again the simple washes applied with watercolor delight my senses.. Just a few colors can do a fine job....

Daniella's Beauties 12X9

A friend from the Sudan loves elephants...I painted this for her by pouring the paint on the paper after drafting the elephants...the background and tusks were masked...by moving the paint around and then using pen the picture was completed...Fun painting.............

Brilliant Sunset 15X5

Watercolor has a sensational movement . I love dropping in the color and watching it flow. Even the clouds are fun....

Winter Pines 71/4 X 10

I enjoy painting and looking at trees....This picture was an exercise in washes... The colors are my favorite greens.. The nearby Ruby Mountains provided inspiration...
