WILD CACTUS ... Watercolor...4 X 6

While in the desert of Utah last year during our THING TRIP, we spotted an area
covered with wild cacti ... If you have ever seen such a sight,
you know the awe of blooming cacti...Some of the blooms start
out deep pink and change to bright yellow...How wonderful natures colors are.....

Just for something different, I painted this 2 years ago when I was playing with color and water...Some pictures are not so good, but each one leaves me with something learned....Thanks for looking....

A litte pracitce with washes..I started this waaaaaaaaay back...After looking at it for a long time, I decided to do some work on the sky...Joe Garcia teaches washes quite well....Fun painting...

Looking at this painting, I see it needs more detail...However, there is one big error in composition...Guess I better keep working... Anyone know the big error??? Don't be afraid to till me.......

Well , another picture not so great as a whole, but using part of it for a card with bookmarks to match, make a fine Birthday Wish for my friend, Ginger, who loves reading....I like sending small ,but thoughtful remembrances...Plus I don't like wasting paper...
