What a fine trip to Yellowstone Park, across WY to SD, past Crazy Horse to Mt. Rushmore...12 VW THings and 28 happy "thingers".

The weather was wonderful, maybe a little hot at times, but rather acceptable.. A favorite form of air-conditioner is a wet hand towel around the neck or on the legs...Believe me, it works.

So many wonderful scenes and fun places. We are a happy "gang" traveling the back roads of ID, WY, SD and NV.

How fun!! Did you all make your shirts? Those are wonderful sights. I saw crazy horse many moons ago and Mt Rushmore, just astounding! I was impressed more with Crazy horse, but beautiful country too!
Thanks, Kathryn and Michelle...Great trip; we didn't make our shirts, but we certainly stood out, as a group of 28, ages 11 to 77. At the evening show, at Mt. R, they had all the vets from audience on stage. Was easy for us to see our group up there..Very moving..THanks, girls for checking my blog...s
