HUNGRY BUTTERFLY... Watercolor...

My great grand niece, Annabelle Doro loves butterflies...So my niece, Kathy suggested a painting for her...Am working on this one and two others...Will post them soon and see which one will be the keepsake...My last posting commented on backgrounds.. Would love to put a good one on this painting, but am nervous out ruining this pretty butterfly... What would you do??
That means you, Kathryn...
Thanks for checking my blog.

I know this little painting is beautiful because I've seen it in person!!! mmmmm, maybe just add a little more warmth...or deepen the blacks..with india ink? for more contrast, but for me I wouldn't touch the background...I probably wouldn't mess with a good thing!
Gorgeous....another "my 2cents worth"

I agree with Kathryn. And Do not touch the background.
Discovered your blog through Kathryn. You have some nice things going on. Keep at it. Also read about your broken hip. Ouch. Still recovering from an accident of my own where I crushed my heel a little over a year ago. Still working that out.
God bless and keep up the great work
